SaSaZu’s Chef Andy Tan has put together a special menu for New Year’s Eve, combining the best of Asian fusion paired with famous wines from renowned European wineries. This special menu will make every fan of great culinary work and of excellent wines very happy as it provides a special experience that the last night of the year deserves.
The evening starts with oysters and Beluga caviar paired with the exclusive taste of Ferrari Maxim Brut. After that your taste buds will experience the refreshing taste of the famous Thai Papaya Salad and Hong Kong Rolls with crispy cod, cucumber, onion, peanuts, mint and apple-kiwi sauce. Paired with Italian Sauvignon, this will create a taste to remember. You will continue with Borobudur Beef Tataki and set off for a trip to a Buddhist monastery deep in the jungles of Java. A memorable combination of USDA Prime beef Angus, daikon, shiso, beetroot, fried garlic and ponzu sauce. Next is Black Har Gow with shrimps, chives, asparagus and truffle, Ko Pi Pi Lobster Soup and German Saar Riesling, another step to culinary heaven. For the main course, you will enjoy Peking duck made in a stone oven with foie gras, spring onion, cucumber, pancakes and dashi-mirin sauce and prime beef SaSaZu Fillet with morel-mushroom sauce and Jasmin rice. The main course variations are paired with French Chateau La Brande and Le Serre Nueve from Italy. Last, a Dragon Ball with chocolate, forest fruit, yuzu sorbet, matcha cake and chilli makes the sweet finale.
